Room 101 was comfortable but struggled with temperature control. Had to remove the duvet to find relief from the heat. The hotel offers generous multiple course meal options.
During our stay, the heating in our Double or Twin Room was overwhelming. The only window we could open was tiny, making it difficult to cool down the room. We decided to request a fan for relief, but unfortunately, none were available to us. Consequently, the discomfort hindered our ability to sleep well throughout the night.

the bed was uncomfortable, and the toilet was loose on the floor, absoluteley shocking. also, how woudl it hurt to have a welcome gift or at least a room upgrade? breakfast on the second morning was very poor— I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t, very disappointing experience overall.

During our stay, we were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and the overall presentation of the room. The dinner was a highlight, delicious and well-prepared. I did have an issue with the desk light not working, making it tough to get my work done early in the morning. It took longer than expected for the staff to address the issue, which was a bit frustrating. Still, the place offers a great setup for visiting nearby attractions in two counties and allowed us to bring our dog without any extra charge.
